XERO has found his furrytail ending!!
Our little Xero, the Zoolander of the Husky world, has come a long way. From being abandoned at a rental property...to spending some time in the pound...into foster care...and now in a forever home that he can call his own!
His journey would not have been possible without his wonderful carers, Lisa & Rob, and of course his adopters, the Brew family. We hear that Xero is loving having two boys and a Husky sister to play with.
Happy furrytail ending, Xero!
“Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty…. What is this?!? A center for ants?!?.... Merman! … MERMAN!"….. Why am I listing Zoolander quotes you may say? Well because I am the canine equivalent of the immortal male model, not just because of these special looks, but because I too am not an ambi-turner. It's a problem I had since I was a baby. I can't turn left. No one really knows why, it may have been something I was born with or it may be the result of an unknown trauma. Whatever it is, it only adds to my unique charm! The other side effect of my quirks is that it appears my vision is limited in my left eye. It might mean I bump into things from time to time, but that is the worst of it. These minor issues are not really issues to me at all, although they do make me special. I still live life at 100 miles and hour and am happiest when I am at the dog park playing with all my friends.
I really am Mr social at my local with dogs of all sizes. I am yet to be tested with cats and other pocket pets, so caution and the ability to separate will be required if you have those. Fence wise, I am not as demanding as most Huskies so as long as they are over 4ft and secure, that should be fine. Apart from dinner time, play time is my next favourite time of the day. I can get a little carried away at times so won’t be suited to a home with fragile big or little people. I can be a little possessive of my food at times too. My foster carers have let me become an inside dog when they are home, and at night I have my very own inside possie. I can be outdoors during the day but care has to be taken to make sure you don’t have any garden plants that may make me sick, I have been known to chew on the odd bit of greenery. I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is. Would you like to help me do that?
